15 Week Appointment

Phil and I went to see our nurse midwife on Friday for our monthly checkup. All is well! We heard BB's heartbeat and it's 150 bpm. Not bad. It's always nice to get affirmation that everything is going well. I haven't gained much weight, so I was a little worried, but our midwife assured us that I was growing normally and the heartbeat sounded nice and strong. I'm sure lack of weight gain won't be a concern for much longer anyway!
Another nurse is supposed to call us on Monday to schedule the ultrasound where we find out the sex. I could go either way on finding out, but Phil wants to know. How can I not know if he does?! So we'll see if BB is a boy or a girl in a few more weeks and I'll have ultrasound pictures to share with you all.
UPDATE: Our ultrasound appointment has been scheduled for May 7th!

    Well, I lost that bet! I thought you would not want to know. It's great everything is progressing and the heart is strong!

    I didn't think I would either, but Phil is set on finding out and I can't imagine if he knew and I didn't! I would constantly be second guessing everything he said wondering, "Does that mean BB is a boy? A girl?" It really doesn't matter either way.
