Catching Up

Now that Ridley is about two months old and I'm getting a better handle on this thing we call motherhood more and more (do any of us ever really get a complete handle on it?), I've decided to pick this blog back up. What started out as a blog for my pregnancy will become a journal of Ridley's growth and development. I want to record her milestones and remember this hectic and crazy time in our lives. Of course the hectic and crazy aspect of our lives is what will make it all the more difficult to keep the blog up to date, but I'm going to do my best! I'm not sure how many people are still reading this blog or will come back to see it grow, but that doesn't matter to me as much as keeping a record for me and for Ridley. But for those of you here, thanks! And I hope you get a kick out of the Buehler Family journey!

    Sunshine, this is a great idea to keep on with the blog as a journal for Ridley! You are "my girls" (and of course, Phil's girls too)! I feel like he is gonna be a great dad,btw! Ridley (my cuddlebug) is a beautiful baby...just as beautiful as you were when I held you in my arms! I want her to know how much her Grammie loves her too! Enjoy, cherish every moment~~the most important thing you can give her (other than love and security)is your time! Together moments turn into precious memories and time can fly~~Love you much, Grammie ♥♥♥

    i'm still here! i keep a journal, too, but i haven't written in it in a shameful amount of time. i plan to "catch up" while i'm on winter break.

    may i suggest that on occasion you "back up" these entries? you never know if blogspot will exist indefinitely, etc.

    can't wait to see your upcoming posts!

    I'm still here & reading. I love you, and seeing you as a tender, nurturing mom who delights in mothering only increases my love and admiration for you in ways nothing else could. <3 Seeing Phil in his new role as "daddy" caused my heart to swell with pride, as well. You're both awesome, and I'm very thankful God gave Ridley such wonderful, amazing parents.
